BRIEF INTRODUCTION AND AIMS

The Islamic Center of Ecuador – Masjid “Assalam” is a non profit organization "`Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaa'h" that serves the Muslims in Ecuador,  South America.

The religious activities are conducted based on the Sacred book named Al- Quran and the pure Sunnah (Prophetic Tradition).

The main duties are to teach the basis of Islam to the new muslims members. To cooperate in “Dawah” work with the Islamic Institutions around the world and to show the true picture of Islam.

The Islamic Center is duly recognized by the Ecuadorian Gobernment (Ministry of Interior) as the first Islamic institution licensed to perform  any  religious activity.

The Islamic Center of Ecuador is a founder of OLPADI (Latin American Organization for Islamic Propagation)
